Marathon of Britain - Race update 11
Two updates this morning from Dan at around 10:15am
Been going since about 8:30 - so far done about 8 miles - ground's a bit soggy under foot.... but we're cathing the early people. There were 3 groups of people leaving today - the peopl at the back (who are wlaking or quite slow) left at 7:30am to give them more of a chance of getting in during daylight.. The bulk of us went at 8:30 and the people at the front - ie the top 15 - are leaving at 10:30..

So in around 20 minutes they start and see if they can catch us up.. but I think we're about 25 minutes away from the early group.. so doing quite well.
Had to pick up some antibiotics from the doctor yesterday because a blisters on my toe is not behaving itself properly - some sort of absess according to the doctor - but it's taped up - we're still walking - feet feel pretty good.. nice and wet again now - having just been running through the fields..
Still feeling a little sick on and off - but thinking that might be down to the antibiotics.. Thanks for all your text messages - I am getting them - but largely too tired to reply to any of them - but they are helping - so please keep them coming..

Another 30 miles to go - so that's got to be worth a £1 per person surely... if not more..
Tomorrow is the big one - 54miles - that was a personal chocker for me last year - last year it took me 28 hours to complete - this year my feet are in much better form.. just need to keep positive now..we're going to get to the end.. The next checkpoint is just a few miles..more water there and just keep running..and I'll let you know how we get on at the end of the day..
